Tom Wolf, Founder & Principal

Tom founded Visular in 2002 with one mission in mind: delivering the best in technology leadership to drive results quickly for his clients.   Building on over 14 years of successful engagements and with a growing team of A-player professionals, Visular has established itself as a firm that can help companies of all types achieve world class technology. 

Tom comes from the senior management ranks of GE where he progressed over 12 years in various IT positions ranging from heavy manufacturing at GE Transportation Systems to e-Commerce and technology product development and ultimately to the role of CIO for two of GE Capital’s businesses in Europe. GE’s world-recognized leadership development has enabled him to build formidable skills in Strategic Leadership, Change Management, Problem Solving, Project Management and Six Sigma. He is also a veteran of the tech start-up world, co-founding a European internet banking software company in 2001.

Tom leverages his breadth of experience to help clients clearly navigate the complexities of technology and deliver results in a wide range of competitive environments and industries.

Claudine Paccio, Principal

Claudine is a seasoned executive with over 25 years’ experience building and leading global teams in both multinational enterprises and start-up environments. She is an established leader who drives businesses to achieve operational excellence and has extensive success in transforming businesses in dynamic, rapidly scaling environments. Claudine has a proven track record and passion for solving complex problems, building high caliber teams, scaling businesses and utilizing change management to transform organizations, as well as managing groups of more than 300 employees.

In addition to providing senior business consulting in the areas of strategic sourcing, operations and project management, Claudine has held executive leadership roles, from VP of Business Transformation to COO, for organizations within the life sciences space and prior to that enjoyed long tenured employment at both Dell and GE. Her training from GE’s Operations Management Leadership Program (formally MMP) and Corporate Audit Staff combined with her unique analytical abilities and strategic insights have allowed her to step into underperforming organizations and quickly establish sound foundations to deliver noteworthy results.

Mike Adams, Principal

Mike is a results-driven technology professional with extensive experience leading people and project teams; implementing and overseeing technology programs; and administering multi-million dollar budgets. He possesses a thorough understanding of emerging technologies and their commercial applications.

Mike brings to Visular over fifteen years of success in planning, directing information technology, supply chain and customer service solutions. GE Six Sigma trained and green belt certified. Culturally sensitive and internationally experienced leader. Member and leader of Project Management Offices (PMO) for major change initiatives that were both IT and business focused.

Jeff Mayerczak, Principal

Jeff brings over 15 years of technology product development leadership to Visular from his executive tenure in international digital commerce and digital media.

He has previously served as Head of Global World & Content Marketing at BlackBerry; VP, Product Management at Cellmania and Head of Product at Kajeet - a national kid friendly pre-paid mobile service. In 2004, Jeff launched Nextel’s equivalent of the AppStore and grew content revenues from $2 to $80M in just under two years. While at GE’s e-commerce division, he led the commercialization and internationalization of GE’s B2B Marketplace product line for uniting buyers and sellers and reducing friction in the supply chain.  

Jeff is a graduate of GE’s prestigious IMLP Program, has an MBA from the University of Maryland and a BA in Computer Science from Drew University.

Yasmin Naguib Maclean, Principal

Yasmin is a senior technology leader with over 25 years experience in transforming processes, departments and projects employing global-sourcing strategies. She has extensive IT outsourcing and off-shoring experience and is a proven project and program manager. Her skills as an excellent communicator, strong leader, and supportive mentor have helped her deliver in a wide range of areas including:  strategy and policy formulation, geopolitical, economic and legal (intellectual property) analysis, business continuity planning in global environments, bid and tender management, contract negotiation, strategic vendor alignment, process and system design to support evolving client and vendor relationships, and organizational change management.

Fabrice Gould, Principal

Fabrice’s broad technology leadership expertise includes data driven digital marketing, business & product development, technology management, and operations. His experience ranges from running key initiatives in a variety of functional units at GE and Neustar to applying his results driven corporate leadership skills to building out three startups in the local search space.  

Fabrice is passionate about building b2b business models with scalable technology, driving customer value to grow business. His unique combination of talents enables him to quickly evaluate organizations’ challenges and guide them to solutions built on a robust technology platforms that deliver relevant data to enable insight and action.  As an experienced practitioner of lean startup and agile methodologies with a passion for staying current with technology advancements and innovative new business concepts, Fabrice brings cutting-edge methods to the Visular team.

Adam Zimmerman, Principal

Starting in the late 1980s, Adam served in a variety of business leadership roles at General Electric. Along the way he established and/or ran several businesses for the company. 

After moving from GE to Network Solutions In the late 1990s, Adam became a member of the leadership team that formed the Network Solutions Registry Services business (renamed VeriSign Global Registry Services and now a standalone public company - NASDAQ: VRSN). VeriSign operates a wide array of network infrastructure including the authoritative registry for the .com and .net top-level domains, as well as two of the Internet's root nameservers. As vice president of Business Operations Adam was responsible for leading the operating activities of what was then a new business. What initially began as a small core team grew - in terms of revenue, employees, and the bottom line - substantially during his tenure. The business now generates north of $ 1 billion in revenue annually and continues to be highly profitable.

Since his time at VeriSign, Inc., Adam has helped Visular and its clients think carefully about their capital allocation decision-making -- including, but not limited to, technology initiatives -- and how it relates to establishing/fortifying their competitive advantages.

Raj Rawal, Principal

Raj Rawal brings strong strategic, leadership, and execution skills in hospitality, retail, food service, and manufacturing, consisting of corporate and franchise operations with a track record of successfully leading teams in the Americas, Europe, and Asia in CIO positions at Burger King Corporation (BKC), Avis/Budget Car Rental, and General Electric (GE).  He has consistently delivered on significant business objectives as a C-level executive from helping take companies public to driving technology change and implementing multi-million dollar IT systems. 

Visular and our clients benefit from Raj's sharp analytical skills and candid input as a senior technology adviser, seasoned executive coach, and principal consultant for our most important initiatives.  Raj also has a demonstrated commitment to giving back to the community.

Allyson Ashley, Manager of Company Operations

Allyson is a polished senior professional who effectively manages Visular's back-office operations, enabling consultants to focus their time and energy on delivering value to clients.  She directly supports the team in all sales, marketing, and business development activities.  Her years of experience working for both large global companies and small businesses enable her to manage our most complex logistical challenges and provide excellent support to client projects directly.   Allyson has worked over six years to build a truly best in class support infrastructure for Visular of the type rarely found in such a small firm and has become an indispensable part of the high performance Visular team.

John Freymann

John focuses on IT infrastructure technologies and helps clients succeed by selecting, deploying and managing them most effectively.  He is adept at supporting the communication and technical skills of IT professionals to create an effective strategic alliance between IT and business functions. John has utilized his deep strengths in project and vendor management on an extensive history of engagements, achieving typical operational cost savings of 40-50%.  His work in the IT field spans from data entry through strategy development and execution.  This experience coupled with his formal training in psychology, counseling and executive coaching, gives John a unique perspective in leveraging the knowledge and experience of team members with technological innovation.

Bob Beaird

Bob has experience in leading business development and IT strategy projects in both large, global companies and mid-sized, private firms, executing business process optimizations and supporting them with technology implementations.  He has served as CIO for a number of mid-sized firms in medical products, industrial materials, and consumer products. He was VP of Supply Chain and IT for the leading luxury furniture brand Holly Hunt, redesigning new IT organization structures, metrics and processes, and improved on-time delivery by 50% while reducing quality incidents by 75%. As Principal of Supply Chain Strategy in NTT Data, the largest IT consulting firm in Japan, he oversaw the implementation of ERP and WMS in top Japanese firms such as Nissan and Mitsubishi. Bob was a principal at Visular for over 4 years where he delivered superb results to clients in the areas of IT Strategy and ERP software, and remains in our extended network of valued experts.
